On Wednesday 5th June Isaac, here, was invested into the John Rae Explorer Scouts. This was a great honour for him as he’d expressly requested to have his investiture at the Hall of Clestrain.

It was a splendid evening and we took the troop for a special visit in and around the Hall. The scouts had a most enjoyable time and also noticed fascinating small details concerning the building and grounds. It is good to see young eyes observing aspects unseen to others.

Their enthusiasm was tremendous and they have volunteered to help us with functions and preparing the portable visitor centre we are having installed.
