This month, we have two exceptional speakers.
On the 20 October, we have Adventurer of the Year 2023, Mr Mark Agnew, who made history with his team mates when they kayaked through the Northwest Passsage. The gruelling 103-day adventure was packed with polar bears, ice bergs and near-death experiences. Mark learned that resilience was not about being tough, it was about loving the adventure. His talk will be packed with thrills, laughs and misadventures.
We are then honoured to welcome best selling International author Mr John Geiger CM, LLD, FRCGS. He is best known for his books, International bestseller Frozen in Time: The Fate of the Franklin Expedition, and The Third Man Factor: Surviving the Impossible, which popularised the concept of the “third man”, an incorporeal being that aids people under extreme duress. John will be joining us on the 23 October.
