We are keen to partner with businesses and other organisation in our aims to Save The Hall of Clestrain.
We have already been kindly supported with donations from Birsay Energy and the Co-op. We acknowledge all our sponsors on our website pages and in press releases.

We have also worked with a number of businesses to create mutually beneficial opportunities such as teaming up with Highland Park to create a limited edition John Rae Whisky. It flew off the shelves and values for the exquisite edition have increased manifold. We also partnered with J. Gow Rum to create a Hall of Clestrain Rum and with Orkney Brewery on the fantastic Long Strides Beer. We received a lump sum and a percentage of sales in these partnerships and the businesses benefitted from being able to use the exciting John Rae brand. We are currently working with Orkney Distilling to create a Northwest Passage Arctic Explorer Gin, made with botanicals from Hudson’s Bay, where John Rae began his Arctic career with the Hudson’s Bay company.
Similarly, we are working in partnership with cruise specialists Adventure Canada. They bring their clients for an exclusive tour of Hall of Clestrain and hear from our President on the story of John Rae. These are hugely popular and well received. We benefit by being paid for the tours and also are the recipient of their on-board raffle. We also partnered with Adventure Canada to offer our members special rates for their Northwest Passage cruise.
We are open to working with businesses and organisation to create opportunities that deliver mutual benefit. If you would like to explore how we can work together, email info@johnraesociety.com
