John Rae may have been known for his ‘long strides’ but the progress in restoring the Hall of Clestrain is more a case of ‘small steps’.

One such step is our planning application for the access road to the Hall, this needs to be in place before any real work can start to avoid us having to access through the farm.

Because of a lot of work by Trustee Niel Kermode and Karl Cooper the planning application for the road is now in at OIC and formally accepted by OIC under 20/265/PP. It should take 2 months to determine.
